"I
was inspired by my Mother's story of her childhood. Times
being very hard, my Grandmother told my Mom that sometimes
it is difficult for the Reyes to get up the steep hill they
live on. The camels may not make it up the hills, and therefore
may not bring her a gift this year. She grew up in Patillas,
Puerto Rico, mountain's sides are very steep. Maybe that's
why I painted horses in my painting, so for sure
she will get her gift this year."

"The Adoration of the Magi" or "The Manifestation of God."
We celebrate it on January 6, it is known as the day of the
Three Kings.
The Three Kings
