Crossroads
at Palm Beach State College celebrates
Women’s History Month in March
March
3, 2011 5:00–7:00pm Humanities
Building and Stage West -
Palm Beach State College, Humanities
Building 4200 Congress Avenue,
Lake Worth, FL 33461In Celebration
of Women
Women's History month provides
the opportunity for Crossroads
to present their annual In Celebration
of Women event- A unique platform
for showcasing and honoring women's
achievements. In Celebration of
Women focuses on the Crossroads
program and the women that have
benefited from it throughout the
years. This year's festivities
will include inspirational stories,
talent, encouragement and fellowship,
as well as, what will certainly
be, a phenomenal message from
keynote speaker, Liz Quirantes,
news anchor for channel 12 news.
If last year's event gives any
indication, the 2011 In Celebration
will be fabulous. The 2010 In
Celebration could be described
as a stellar success, with many
attending to enjoy the inspirational
readings, entertainment and delectable
fare. The beautiful rendition
of Miley Cyrus's The Climb and
the amazing art work and inspirational
stories and poems, provided by
former Crossroad graduates, as
well as the empowering speech,
delivered by keynote speaker,
West Palm Beach Chief of Police,
Delsa Bush, contributed to the
night's atmosphere of strength,
encouragement and camaraderie.
Expectations for the 2011 event
follow suit: an evening of good
food, beautiful exhibitions of
talent, networking, friendship
and words of hope, comfort and
support. As with last year's event
the law firm of Fox Rothchilds,
LLP, will be collaborating with
Crossroads, as part of their Women's
Initiative program, so be sure
to SAVE the Date and join us in
this celebration of Crossroads
and women. BaezFineArt on display
